This proposal suggests the formal disbandment of the Karrat DAO and the transfer of governance, development rights, and treasury resources to AMGI/MPH. The goal is to streamline operations, eliminate bureaucratic inefficiencies, and ensure that AMGI/MPH has sufficient resources to fully develop the My Pet Hooligan ecosystem and associated games.

Rationale

Since its inception, the Karrat DAO has faced significant challenges in fulfilling its decentralized governance mandate. The Foundation has operated with limited transparency, creating an environment more akin to a private company than a DAO. Decisions have been made without sufficient community input, and the bureaucratic processes of the DAO have slowed critical developments.

By transferring ownership and resources to AMGI/MPH, the project can:

  1. Ensure the swift and efficient completion of game development.
  2. Eliminate the delays caused by DAO governance processes.
  3. Provide AMGI/MPH with the necessary funding to deliver on the project’s long-term vision.

Proposal Details

  1. Disbandment of the Karrat DAO:
  • The DAO will officially cease operations as a decentralized governing body.
  • All governance rights will be transferred to AMGI/MPH.
  1. Treasury Allocation:
  • 200 million Karrat tokens (2/3 of the treasury) will be allocated to AMGI/MPH to support the continued development of the My Pet Hooligan ecosystem and associated games.
  • 100 million Karrat tokens (remaining treasury) will be distributed as staking rewards for MPH and Karrat token holders.
  1. Staking Distribution Plan:
  • MPH and Karrat token holders will receive staking rewards proportionally over a 24-month period to ensure fair and incentivized participation.
  1. Ownership Transition:
  • AMGI/MPH will gain full rights and ownership over the Karrat Protocol, including any remaining assets, intellectual property, and developmental responsibilities.
  • The Foundation will dissolve after all funds are distributed, and its members will relinquish all decision-making authority.

Voting Options

  1. Yes - Approve the disbandment of the DAO, the transfer of 2/3 of the treasury to AMGI/MPH, and the staking reward plan for MPH/Karrat holders.
  2. No - Retain the current DAO structure and governance.

Next Steps

If this proposal passes:

  1. The Foundation will initiate the transfer of 200 million Karrat tokens to AMGI/MPH.
  2. A staking mechanism will be implemented to distribute the remaining 100 million tokens to MPH and Karrat holders.
  3. All DAO operations and governance mechanisms will cease, and the Karrat Foundation will officially dissolve.
